About Me

My name is James Deren Austin, and I am originally born in Ankara, Turkey, on February 14, 2002. I moved to College Station, Texas when I was around three years old, and currently live in Wake Forest, North Carolina. I have a younger sister named Victoria, a Golden doodle named Oliver, a mother, and a father. Now, I play football for the Heritage High School football team, and soccer for a program called “CASL”. I have been playing acoustic guitar ever since I was 8 and still do to this day. One of my many hobbies conclude of hanging out with friends. I am starting 10th grade as a sophomore at Heritage High School. I am very interested in engineering and making models. In 7th and 8th grade, I was president of the National Junior Honors Society at Heritage Middle School, and placed 1st and 2nd in four consecutive chess tournaments. I have donated to the Ronald McDonald House quite a few times, and volunteered to mow my neighbor’s lawn and grocery shop for my parents. In the future, I plan to go to College over in Texas at Texas A&M University where I hopefully earn a form of engineering degree. I plan to earn a mechanical or electrical degree there. Scholarship offers of any kind would be one of my short-term goals, but as a long-term goal I plan on obtaining a job that I both enjoy and am very good at. After College, I would like to have a family consisting of 2 kids and a wife.
